1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how eduRPG ("we", "us", or "our"), an independent app developed by Linus (Taiwan), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the eduRPG mobile and web application.
2. Information We Collect
- Email address — used for account login, verification, password recovery, and family-group notifications.
- Display name — shown on leaderboards and to members of your family group.
- Gameplay data — including mastery scores, review records, custom vocabulary banks you create, and quiz content associated with your account.
- Images you intentionally upload or submit — including avatar images, student ID verification photos, bug report screenshots, teacher-bank OCR images, and quiz question images you choose to upload.
- Service-generated quiz images — images created inside eduRPG for quiz or learning content you request, create, or save through the service.
- Purchase history — receipts from Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing. We do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or any direct payment information; payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google.
- Push notification token — only when you opt in to receive learning reminders or family-activity alerts.
- Family group structure — the parent–child links you establish inside the app.
- Product interaction — the screen you are currently on (used for live multiplayer matchmaking and family co-play detection).
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your location (we do not request or use any location APIs).
- Health or fitness data.
- Photos or videos from your device unless you intentionally select or upload them to the app.
- Microphone recordings or other audio from your device.
- Contacts on your device.
- Browsing or web search history.
- Sensitive personal information such as race, sexual orientation, or political views.
- Financial information beyond store-issued purchase receipts.
4. How We Use Your Information
- App functionality — to operate core features such as login, saving learning progress, and granting purchases.
- Account management — to verify your identity and recover your account.
- Personalization — to adapt question difficulty to your current mastery level.
- Customer support and moderation — to review bug reports, process teacher-bank OCR requests, and keep user-uploaded content compliant with our rules.
We do not show advertisements, we do not work with third-party advertising networks, and your data is never used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
5. Third-Party Services
- Apple App Store and Google Play — handle in-app purchases. We receive only the receipt and the product identifier.
- Cloudflare — provides our CDN and tunnel. Cloudflare may see your IP address for routing purposes.
- RevenueCat — used to validate Apple / Google receipts when iOS in-app purchase support is launched. Active only after iOS launch.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Avatar images and quiz content remain until you replace them, delete the related content, or delete your account. Verification photos and support uploads are retained only as long as needed for identity verification, fraud prevention, or support handling, then deleted or anonymized according to our retention workflow. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except for purchase audit records, which are anonymized but retained as required by tax and consumer-protection law.

8. Children's Privacy
eduRPG is rated 4+ and is suitable for general audiences. For users under the age of 13, we recommend that a parent or guardian review and consent to the use of the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without consent, please contact [email protected] and we will delete such information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page is authoritative. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

本隱私政策說明 eduRPG（以下稱「我們」）— 由台灣個人開發者 Linus 獨立開發 — 在您使用 eduRPG 行動及網頁應用程式時，如何蒐集、使用及保護您的資料。
2. 我們蒐集的資料
- 電子郵件地址（Email address）：用於帳號登入、 驗證、密碼找回、以及家庭群組通知。
- 顯示名稱（Display name）：顯示在排行榜以及 家庭群組成員列表。
- 遊戲學習資料（Gameplay data）：包含熟練度分數、 複習紀錄、您自建的字彙庫、以及與您帳號相關的題庫內容。
- 您主動上傳或提交的圖片（Images you intentionally upload or submit）：包含頭像圖片、學生證驗證照片、問題回報截圖、 教師題庫 OCR 圖片、以及您選擇上傳的題目圖片。
- 服務內產生的題目圖片（Service-generated quiz images）：指 eduRPG 依您建立、請求或儲存的題庫／學習內容所產生並 保存的圖片。
- 購買紀錄（Purchase history）：來自 Apple In-App Purchase 與 Google Play Billing 的收據。我們不儲存信用卡 號、銀行帳號或任何直接付款資訊；金流全部由 Apple 或 Google 處理。
- 推播通知 Token（Push notification token）： 僅在您選擇接收學習提醒或家庭活動通知時才會收集。
- 家庭群組結構（Family group）：您在 App 內建立的 親子連結關係。
- 使用互動資料（Product interaction）：您當下所在的 畫面（用於多人題庫即時配對與家庭共玩偵測）。
3. 我們不蒐集的資料
- 您的地理位置（我們不使用任何 location API）。
- 健康或運動資料。
- 您裝置上的相片或影片，除非您主動選取並上傳到 App。
- 您裝置上的麥克風錄音或其他音訊。
- 您裝置上的通訊錄。
- 瀏覽紀錄或網頁搜尋紀錄。
- 敏感個資，例如種族、性傾向、政治傾向等。
- 除商店收據外的任何財務資訊。
4. 我們如何使用您的資料
- App 功能：用於核心功能，例如登入、儲存學習進度、 開通購買。
- 帳號管理：用於驗證身分及帳號還原。
- 個人化：依據您目前的熟練度調整題目難度。
- 客服與內容審核：用於處理問題回報、教師題庫 OCR 需求、以及審查您主動上傳的內容是否符合規範。
我們不顯示廣告、不與任何第三方廣告聯播網合作，您的資料 絕對不會被用於廣告或跨 App 追蹤。
5. 第三方服務
- Apple App Store 與 Google Play： 負責處理 App 內購買，我們僅收到收據與商品 ID。
- Cloudflare：提供 CDN 與隧道服務，Cloudflare 可能 會看到您的 IP 位址以進行流量路由。
- RevenueCat：用於驗證 Apple / Google 收據，待 iOS 版本上線後啟用。
6. 資料保存期間
在您的帳號使用期間，我們會持續保存您的資料。頭像圖片與題庫圖片會保留 到您更換、刪除相關內容、或刪除帳號為止。驗證照片與客服上傳附件僅會在 身分驗證、防止濫用、或客服處理所需期間內保存，之後依保存流程刪除或匿名 化。當您刪除帳號後，我們會在 30 天內移除您的個人資料；惟因稅務及消費者 保護法令要求，購買稽核紀錄會匿名化後保存。
7. 您的權利
- 查詢您的資料：請來信 [email protected]。
- 刪除您的帳號：開啟 App，前往 設定 → 帳號管理 → 刪除帳號。
- 修正錯誤資料：請來信 [email protected]。
8. 兒童隱私
eduRPG 年齡分級為 4+，適合一般使用者。對於 13 歲以下使用者， 我們建議由家長或監護人陪同並同意後使用本 App。我們不會在未經 家長同意下蓄意蒐集 13 歲以下兒童的個人資料。若您發現有 13 歲以下 兒童在未經同意的情況下提供個人資料給我們，請聯絡 [email protected]，我們將儘速刪除。
9. 政策變更
本隱私政策可能會不定期更新。本頁面頂端的「最後更新日期」為最新版本 依據。您於變更後繼續使用本 App，視為同意修訂後的政策。
